Juniper Networks to Demonstrate “Service Provider in a Rack” at OTV Connect 2010

WARSAW, Poland, Sept. 14, 2010 — Juniper Networks® (NASDAQ:JNPR, news, filings) today announced its principal sponsorship and participation at the Optical Transmission Vision (OTV) Connect conference, Europe’s major Carrier Ethernet and transmissions event taking place in Warsaw, September 20-23, 2010.

At booth #38, Juniper will showcase a “service provider in a rack,” including next-generation switching and routing platforms powered by the Junos®MX 3D Universal Edge Routers, the industry’s only converged platform for the network edge that performs sophisticated subscriber management, aggregation, mobility and business services in a single, highly-scalable system. Juniper will also showcase Juniper Networks Network Activate, which enables customers to quickly create and activate revenue-generating services, including bringing VPN services online up to 10 times faster than competitive products. Network Activate automatically collects the entire physical inventory of devices under network management and provides MPLS resource control, point-and-click service provisioning and troubleshooting for Carrier Ethernet services environments.
