INTEGRA TELECOM SPONSORS THE JERRY LEWIS MDA TELETHON FOR 8TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

Integra Sponsorship Valued at $75,000, includes 100 Volunteers and Encompasses All Phone and Internet Service for Telethons in Seven States

Portland, Ore. – Sept. 7, 2010 – For its eighth consecutive year, Integra Telecom Inc., an integrated telecommunications provider for business, is serving as the telecom sponsor for the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Telethon in seven states across the western U.S., including Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington. Integra’s sponsorship involves 100 employee volunteers and their families along with the donation of telecommunications services and support – valued at $75,000 – to seven local Labor Day broadcasts.

“Supporting the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon has become a tradition at Integra Telecom, and we are proud to be part of an event that makes such an important impact on the health and well-being of our communities,” said Dudley Slater, CEO of Integra Telecom. “The MDA relies on individual contributions to fulfill its mission, and we’re pleased to help raise funds and awareness with the tools at our disposal: telephone, Internet service and our dedicated employees.”

As the official telecommunications sponsor of the MDA Telethon, Integra Telecom donated telephone equipment; local, long-distance and Internet service; and on-site technician support for each of the seven telethons held in Denver, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Reno, Nev., and Portland, Ore. Additionally, the 100 Integra associates and family members served as phone bank volunteers for a portion of the telethons.

“The fact that up to 100 Integra associates and their families dedicate four hours or more on a holiday to volunteer, speaks to the type of folks that comprise Integra Telecom,” said Dudley. “So far this year, employees have volunteered more than 4,000 hours through the Community Matters program and we could not be more proud of that.”

Integra’s sponsorship of the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethons is made possible through its Community Matters program, which supports initiatives and organizations that benefit the lives of the people in the communities Integra serves.
