Global Crossing Appoints Warren Baxley as Vice President of Global Collaboration Services Product Team

FLORHAM PARK, N.J., Sept. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Global Crossing (NASDAQ: GLBC), a leading global IP solutions provider, today announced it has appointed Warren Baxley to head the company’s Global Collaboration and Unified Communications product line.

Baxley most recently was a vice president of product development at InterCall, where he was responsible for technology roadmaps, application development and maintenance, quality testing, and production system support.  He brings more than a decade of senior management experience in product development and the collaboration services field.

Prior to his position at InterCall, Baxley was co-founder and vice president of product development for SignetX, a “Software-as-a-Service” startup.  He also served as a divisional product marketing director at Polycom and co-founder and vice president at Voyant Technologies before it was acquired by Polycom.

Baxley also served in the U.S. Navy as a qualified Nuclear Submarine Officer, leading a multi-disciplined team of 20 elite technicians responsible for submarine system performance monitoring and corrective maintenance for a squadron of nine submarines.  He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
