Fibertech Networks Wins Carrier Excellence Awards in the 2010 ATLANTIC-ACM Metro Connectivity Report Card Study

Awarded Highest Marks for Brand and Sales Representatives; Highest Numerical Average Ratings for Product Quality or Price Competitiveness and Ethernet Quality

September 16, 2010 – Rochester, NY

Fibertech Networks, L.L.C., a leading provider of metropolitan bandwidth services in mid-size cities, today announced it has been recognized with two service excellence awards in the 2010 ATLANTIC-ACM Metro Connectivity Report Card survey.

The industry-wide report is based on the results of more than 3,000 individual ratings of carrier’s network services and the operations behind those services. It’s widely regarded as the broadest benchmarking tool in metro wholesale telecommunications.

Fibertech received the best-in-class honors in two overall categories among competitive telecom providers: brand (tie) and sales reps, and the highest numerical average ratings of metro wholesale customers’ opinions for product quality or price competitiveness and Ethernet Quality.

Earlier this year, the company received similar recognition from business customers in the 2010 ATLANTIC-ACM Business Connectivity Report Card survey, placing first in all nine categories it was eligible for in the CLEC/Cable/Fiber group, which included Branding, Sales Representatives, Provisioning, Network, Customer Service, Billing, Enterprise Data Value, SMB Data Value and Overall Data Quality.

“We are extremely pleased to earn these high marks from both our carrier and enterprise clients alike,” said Fibertech Vice President of Sales and Marketing Mike Hurley. “These honors validate our efforts to provide service excellence to our customers and recognize the value of our service offerings to meet the metro demand for bandwidth services.”
