The ISO/IEC 20000 IT Service Management certification offers reassurance to customers that NTT Europe will provide consistent and cost effective services, ensuring cohesive delivery and sustainability. With the identification and management of risk, the ability to resolve incidents effectively and the processes in place to change and improve, NTT Europe is able guarantee the integrity of their managed services.
ISO/IEC 20000 describes an integrated set of management processes which NTT Europe must adhere to for the effective delivery of high quality managed services to its European customers. ISO/IEC 20000 is aligned with and complementary to the process approach defined within ITIL®, the most widely accepted approach to IT service management in the world. ITIL provides a cohesive set of best practice, drawn from the public and private sectors internationally.
In order to gain compliance, NTT Europe has undergone a comprehensive audit of its service management across Europe the scope of which included: Requirements for a management system; Planning and implementing service management; Planning and implementing new or changed services; Service delivery process; Relationship processes; Resolution processes; Control processes; and Release processes.
