BRING ON THE BROADBAND: FAIRPOINT ANNOUNCES STOCKBRIDGE EXPANSION

SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (August 5, 2010) – FairPoint Communications has expanded broadband to an additional 100 homes and businesses in the Stockbridge, Vermont area.

The high-speed Internet service was recently expanded to reach customers along VT Route 107, as well as Arnold Mountain Road, Bingham, Bridge, Brink Hill, Campbell, Chedel, Lilliesville, Lillieville Brook, Mt. Hunger, Peavine, River, Sledding, Sweet and Whittier roads. Customers can now e-mail photos, download music and surf the Internet faster than previously on dial-up service.

FairPoint has increased access to high-speed Internet service from 66 to 80 percent of its Vermont customers since 2008.
