Chickasaw Selects Level 3 for High Speed IP and Transport Services

Level 3’s Services Offers Chickasaw Access to Oklahoma City Customers

BROOMFIELD, Colo., June 30, 2010

Level 3 Communications, Inc. (NYSE:LVLT, news, filings) today announced that it has signed an agreement with Chickasaw Long Distance/BrightNet (CLD), a wholesale carrier based in Oklahoma, to provide high-speed Internet protocol (HSIP) and transport services.

Under the terms of the three year agreement, Level 3 will provide CLD with HSIP services over a Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) connection. The agreement will enable CLD to resell Level 3’s next-generation IP solutions and gain access to potential customers in Oklahoma City, expanding their regional influence.
