BTI Systems Honored in 2010 Innovation Awards by Global Telecoms Business

Epsilon Telecommunications Joins BTI Systems for Innovative and Dynamic Metro Services

Ottawa and London — Tuesday, June 8, 2010 // BTI Systems, the company that redefines metro service delivery, was honored in London last night with the 2010 Innovation Award from Global Telecoms Business in the International Infrastructure Innovation category. BTI Systems was celebrated for its collaboration on an innovative and dynamic metro infrastructure project with Epsilon Telecommunications Ltd.

Epsilon Telecommunications Ltd., a global service provider headquartered in the United Kingdom, provides a carrier-neutral global connect platform for Layer 1, 2 and 3 services and multifunctional, custom-made, end-to-end solutions to major corporations and financial institutions. By integrating various types of networks, Epsilon provides customers with quick and easy interconnection and a robust network backbone with low latency to offer its customers quick and effective deployments of new network services.

Epsilon chose BTI Systems to keep pace with the exponential increase in demand for bandwidth with minimal operational impact and to avoid the capital expenditure that would be required to augment its fiber and packet network infrastructure as they expand globally. With BTI’s solution, Epsilon is able to offer a low-latency network with lightning fast service deployment with little integration needed.

“We’re very proud of this achievement with Epsilon. The leadership and vision of their talented staff and engineering and execution from the BTI team motivates all of us to leverage this example for network infrastructure innovation,” said Steve Waszak, president and CEO of BTI Systems.
