Based on a metro ring infrastructure, Core Wave utilizes ROADM (Reconfigurable Optical Add/Drop Multiplexer) technology providing dynamic wavelength Add/Drops and inter-ring connectivity with flexible traffic routing. This next-gen technology is scalable, with the ability to grow to 40G and 100G, preparing Enterprises for the future.
Core Wave services provide for 1Gbps and higher connectivity between key datacenters and/or enterprise locations within a metro area, offering the benefits of a dedicated wavelength service along with the flexibility and time-to-market advantages of a next generation core infrastructure solution.
