Company donates tickets to Fort Bragg and customers throughout Charlotte-area
MATTHEWS, N.C. – Windstream (NYSE:WIN, news, filings) will host 7,500 local families and members of the military at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 27 as NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers vie for top standings at the annual Windstream Pole Night.
Windstream will provide 2,500 tickets to soldiers and military families at Fort Bragg and XVIII Airborne Corps for the third consecutive year.
In its local communities, Windstream also will be making “Neighborhood Pit Stops” in the brand’s vintage 1953 green pickup truck, handing out free four-pack Pole Night tickets and ice cream at the following events:
- May 18 – 4 p.m.-5 p.m. Boys & Girls Club of Our Town, Davidson, N.C.
- May 20 – 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday on Main Music Series, Veterans Park, Kannapolis, N.C.
- May 20 – 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Union Street Live, Historic Courthouse Lawn, Concord, N.C.
- May 21 – 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Concord Mills Mall, AMC Theater Parking Lot
- May 22 – 4 p.m. -8 p.m. Cruising Downtown Concord, Union Street, South and Market Street, Concord, N.C.
- May 23 – 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Joey Logano Fan Day, Extreme Ice Center, Indian Trail, N.C.
In addition, local NASCAR enthusiasts can pick-up free ticket four-packs at the following Windstream retail stores beginning May 17: Albemarle, China Grove, Concord, Indian Trail, and Kannapolis.
Limit one four-pack of tickets per person while supplies last.
