(NASDAQ:LLNW, news, filings) today announced that the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has affirmed a lower court decision finding in favor of the Company in the case Level 3 Communications, LLC. v. Limelight Networks, Inc (United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Civil Action No. 2:07cv589).
The ruling, issued by the Appeals Court without opinion under Rule 36, affirms a January 2009 jury decision that Limelight Networks does not infringe the Level 3 patents at issue.
