Juniper Networks Achieves Success at World Vendor Awards 2010

“The New Network is Here” Selected as Best Brand Campaign of the Year

SUNNYVALE, Calif., May 19, 2010 — Juniper Networks® (NASDAQ:JNPR, news, filings) has been honored at The World Vendor Awards 2010 for Best Brand Campaign with its “The New Network is Here” campaign. The award was presented during a ceremony in London on May 5, and was the inaugural event in a new annual scheme. The World Vendor Awards judging panel described Juniper’s winning campaign as a company-wide effort, including support from the CEO, and strong use of social media. The panel also mentioned that Juniper has done an excellent job communicating its new branding strategy to the market.

The award recognizes the organization that has created the most effective and compelling brand campaign for its products or services in one or more branches of the media. Of more than 100 companies considered, Juniper was also shortlisted for three other categories: Technology Foresight, Best Software Solution and Outstanding Vendor of the Year, for which the company received a “Highly Commended” mention.

Juniper Networks launched its campaign on October 29, 2009 to unveil groundbreaking new software, silicon, systems and partnerships designed to propel the “new network” for enterprise and service provider customers. The campaign was kick-started with the launch of a new logo and branding for the company, demonstrating how marketing can be used as a fundamental component in transforming business. The campaign was the most significant company transformation undertaken by Juniper in its thirteen year history.
