SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (May 25, 2010) – Rene DeLaricheliere, director of business sales for FairPoint Communications in Vermont, presented a $5,000 donation to VSA Arts, the Winooski-based organization that brings the arts to Vermonters of all abilities.
FairPoint’s contribution to VSA Arts will help the statewide nonprofit arts and education organization offer inclusive arts and education programs at more than 60 separate sites in all counties of Vermont, including preschools, public schools, shelters for homeless families, community centers serving adults with disabilities in collaboration with community organizations of all kinds. Founded in 1986, VSA Arts of Vermont is a member of the international network of VSA Arts, an affiliate of The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

DeLaricheliere, a VSA Arts board member, lives in St. Albans and is a graduate of St. Anselm College and served for 11 years in the Vermont Army National Guard. He also serves as the vice president of the Franklin County Babe Ruth where he is also a coach. He has volunteered in numerous youth programs in Franklin County including youth soccer, Little League baseball and fitness classes. Prior to joining FairPoint, Delaricheliere has had over 19 years of experience in the telecommunications industry in sales, marketing and business development. He previously worked for Verizon Communications in the areas of sales, marketing, and business development.
