Major upgrade to reporting package offers unprecedented visibility into content delivery
SANTA MONICA, CA – March 16, 2010 — EdgeCast Networks, the superior, cost–effective rich media content delivery network (CDN), today announced its EC360 Analytics Suite, a major upgrade to the company’s reporting offerings. Already praised by customers and analysts as offering some of the best analytics in the industry, EdgeCast designed the new analytics modules to help organizations better monitor and monetize their online content.”

The new EC360 Analytics Suite is comprised of four modules:
- The Basic Reporting module is a robust toolkit that monitors bandwidth, transfer rates, cache hit ratios, and much more. Reports within geographic regions include large and small file delivery, streaming, hits, and statuses, all updated hourly.
- The Edge Performance Analytics module delivers in-depth views of how sites are performing at the edge. Information includes detailed data on server performance, cache configuration, protocols, compression, security, errors, response codes, and much more for each data center. This in-depth information helps organizations optimize their sites and identify minor issues before they become major problems.
- The Real Time Statistics module contains dozens of up-to-the-minute graphs and reports covering bandwidth usage, large and small object delivery, streaming connections, purge and storage conditions, and real-time monitoring of live events.
- The Advanced Content Analytics module presents deep views into audience information including referrer and host data, geography, and loyalty, all overlaid onto an interactive global map. The module also gives access to hit status codes, cache and CNAME reporting, and origin storage information.
Reports for all modules can be easily customized, exported, and presented to suit the customer. Alerts can also be set to notify the customer when specific thresholds or conditions are met, empowering the customer to take immediate action when necessary.
The EC360 Suite is available immediately. EdgeCast customers will find the updated Basic Reporting Module in their customer control center, and can subscribe to other modules by contacting their EdgeCast account manager or reseller.
