BroadSoft Named as 2010 CODiE Finalist

Technology and Market Leadership also Recognized by the World Vendor Awards, Named Finalist for Outstanding Vendor of the Year

GAITHERSBURG, MD, March 17, 2010 – The Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) has named BroadSoft as a finalist in the “Best Communications Solution” category for its prestigious CODiE Awards. In addition, the World Vendor Awards have named BroadSoft as a finalist for their “Outstanding Vendor of the Year” award. Winners for both awards will be announced in May.

BroadSoft is the leading global provider of voice-over-Internet (VoIP) application software. More than 425 service providers, including 15 of the top 25 largest telecommunications service providers in the world, as measured by revenue in the first three quarters of 2009, have purchased the company’s software. Service provider customers use BroadSoft software to provide enterprises and consumers with a range of cloud-based, or hosted, IP multimedia communications.

“This is the twenty-fifth year we have recognized excellence in the software, education and information industries through the CODiE Awards program,” noted Ken Wasch, President of SIIA. “In this economic climate, companies are doing even more to innovate. BroadSoft has demonstrated a commitment to innovation and quality that is reflected in their selection as a finalist for the CODiE Awards. I am pleased and proud to have them listed among the candidates, and I wish them the best in the final round of voting.”

Winners for the SIIA’s CODiE Awards will be announced on May 25, 2010, at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco.

The World Vendor Awards were launched this year to recognize excellence among the companies supplying hardware, software and services for the global telecommunications industry. Winners will be announced on May 5, 2010, at the Underglobe in London.

“BroadSoft is a company whose business and culture have always been about looking far into the future, being innovative, and providing the best services possible to our customers,” said Mike Tessler, co-founder, president, and CEO of BroadSoft. “Being recognized by both the SIIA and the World Vendor Awards means a great deal to us and is testament to the hard work, ingenuity, and creativity of the many talented people who work here.”
