Meeting New Curriculum Demands For Less
Denville School District was eager to leverage technology to provide a more interactive teaching and learning experience, and enhance compliance with The State of New Jersey Department of Education's new standards on integrating technology across the curriculum and in the education process. However, the District's previous network limited Internet use and the potential to use technology in the classroom. To meet its IT, operational and educational needs, Denville School District worked with Optimum Lightpath to replace its Verizon 10 megabit TLS network and 6 megabit ISDN PRI solution with a GigE Managed Private Fiber WAN and Internet/Voice bundle offering a substantial 47 Megabits of speed all while saving $50,000 annually.
