Now provides ultra-low latency connection to more than 30 data centres across the London area
LONDON, February 1st, 2010 – AboveNet Communications UK Ltd., a leading provider of ultra-low latency, high-bandwidth fibre optic connectivity solutions, has extended its dedicated fibre network to Sentrum’s major new 200,000 square foot Sentrum IV data centre facility in Woking, Surrey.
The announcement confirms AboveNet as the leading fibre optic provider of high bandwidth fibre connectivty to London’s data centre community. With the connection to Sentrum, AboveNet now connects to more than 30 data centres across the London area, with connections ranging from Canary Wharf, Basildon and Docklands in the East, through the City and West End, further out to Slough and Heathrow in the West, and now Sentrum’s facility in Woking.
