NEW YORK (Jan. 5, 2010) — Telx, one of the largest domestic interconnection and colocation data center operators, announced today that it has been selected for the 2009 Best of Business Award in the Data Communication Services category by the Small Business Commerce Association (SBCA). The SBCA 2009 Award Program recognizes achievements of the top five percent of small businesses throughout the country.
Using consumer feedback, the SBCA identifies companies that have demonstrated what makes small businesses a vital part of the American economy. A selection committee chooses the award winners from nominees based on information taken from monthly surveys administered by the SBCA, a review of consumer rankings, and other consumer reports.
“The SBCA Best of Business Award holds significance for Telx because it was earned through user feedback,” said Eric Shepcaro, CEO of Telx. “The fact that our customers have made the effort to express their satisfaction with our services through this nomination process is a testament to Telx’s business value as a colocation and interconnection leader. We continue to gain momentum by listening to our customers, focusing on their needs and adding new portfolio features to support our growing customer base.”
