Adherence to Internationally Recognized ISO Standards Verifies Segovia’s Commitment to Quality and Customer Satisfaction
HERNDON, Va., January 13, 2010 – Segovia, Inc., a leading provider of secure global voice, video, and data communication solutions, announced today that it has passed the latest semi-annual ISO surveillance audit held on December 8-9, 2009. Surveillance audits are a key component of the continuing effort to validate Segovia is effectively adhering to quality processes formalized and approved at initial registration to the ISO standard. Mr. Buddy Godbout, Lead Auditor from NSAI Inc., a US subsidiary of the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI), conducted the surveillance audit and focused on customer satisfaction and other quality management procedures.

ISO 9001 is the most rigid certification for process qualifications and is intended for use in any organization which designs, develops, manufactures, installs and/or services any product or provides any form of service. ISO 9001 provides customers with objective proof that the compliant company has an effective quality management system and all of the standards’ requirements are met.
Segovia initially received recommendation for registration to ISO 9001:2000 in December 2007, and subsequently met requirements to the new ISO 9001:2008 standard in May 2009. Although the current registration is valid through the end of 2010, Segovia is already preparing for re-registration to the ISO 9001:2008 standard, coming in May 2010. At that time, all quality processes will be re-examined for compliance with the current standard.
