Asteroid, the interconnection platform innovator, and Interxion, a leading provider of carrier and cloud-neutral colocation data centre services in Europe, have collaborated to enable efficient, cost-effective interconnection to networks in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Asteroid operates the Asteroid IXP in the Science Park in Amsterdam, which is easily accessible by all Interxion customers in Amsterdam.
The Asteroid IXP offers a modern, cost-effective way to peer with some of the largest networks in the world.
The collaboration will not only enable effective, and smooth connection of all Interxion Amsterdam customers to the Asteroid IXP, but is also kicked off with a special offer. The Asteroid sponsored offer allows anyone present at Interxion Science Park to obtain a free cross connect from Interxion Science Park (AMS9) to Asteroid IXP for a period of 12 months.
Interxion also offers connections from the Interxion Schiphol Campus , with a 10G protected wave to the Asteroid IXP, priced at €100 per month (with a setup fee of € 500).
