Sparkle, the international services arm of TIM Group and among top 10 global operators, announces the launch of the a new SMS Management solution to expand its IoT-related SMS services, reduce overhead and manage SMS-specific network complexities. The solution is provided in partnership with Telarix.
Sparkle has accelerated its focus on SMS to leverage market growth opportunities. According to the Mobile Ecosystem Forum (MEF), messaging traffic is expected to increase by more than 350% over the next 5 years. Application-to-peer (A2P) messaging is leading the growth and it is set to become a fundamental delivery mechanism for “internet of things” devices.
