In latest customer survey, J.D. Power ranks Verizon the top wireless network for the 19th time in a row

What a week for our customers! We led the industry again by:
Achieving an industry first with more than 1 Gbps speeds on our 4G LTE Network with our technology partners Ericcson and Qualcomm.
Announcing the expansion of unlimited data plans on the nation’s best network, providing unlimited for all including new plans for business customers.
Now, our customers have spoken.
Verizon once again received more awards than any other national wireless provider in the latest J.D. Power 2017 Wireless Network Quality Performance Study, Volume 2. In fact, this is the 19th time our Network has been top-rated by our customers – that’s quite an honor.
The J.D. Power study also rated Verizon unbeaten in all six regions, with significantly better performance than the industry average in all three quality categories: calling, messaging and data performance. This reflects our engineering focus on all aspects of a customer’s overall network experience.
These results are consistent with the recent scientific study by independent firm RootMetrics. ®. In their U.S. Rootscore® report, Verizon’s network was rated #1 in overall performance, reliability, calls, and data performance for a record eighth consecutive time. The report also rated our Network #1 in speed for a seventh consecutive time.
The Verizon Network continues to significantly outperform the others and our customers enjoy the best mobile experience in the industry. Since the launch of unlimited in February, millions of people have switched to Verizon and are enjoying unlimited on the superior Network.
While we do not build our Network to collect trophies, these studies matter because they reflect specific feedback about customer experiences. Our Network employees take great pride in delivering the best wireless experience today and continuing to innovate with the latest technologies for tomorrow.
