Connect Equinix TR2 and Cologix Montréal on-net with BSO
We’ve launched two new points-of-presence (POPs) in Canada as part of our ongoing commitment to support the international financial trading community with the fastest and most reliable connectivity and hosting services between the worlds’ most dynamic trading venues.
The first POP is in Equinix TR2 located in Toronto. TR2 provides direct access to TR1, home of TORIX Toronto Internet Exchange (TORIX), as well as all major cloud providers via the Equinix Cloud Exchange™.
The second is in Cologix Montreal, Montréal’s leading network neutral colocation provider and has approximately 100,000 square feet spanning seven Montréal data centres throughout the city including Montréal’s central Meet-Me-Room (MMR).

Why Montréal? The Canadian city is recognised both as an attractive and lucrative established market as well as a gateway to North America, specifically New York City and Chicago.
The Montréal Exchange celebrated a record year in 2016 with a record 91.9 million contracts traded, up from 76.7 million in 2015. The Toronto Stock Exchange has also recently launched its new TSX NAVex platform, an innovative mutual fund platform which expands the dealer network and introduces a new information portal designed to provide fund manufacturers with unique insight into activity.
