AQUA COMMS TO JOIN OPENING KEYNOTE PANEL AT SUBSEA CONNECT 2017

Dublin, Ireland – June 28, 2017 – Aqua Comms DAC (“Aqua Comms”), the operator of Ireland’s first dedicated subsea fibre-optic network interconnecting New York, Dublin and London, announces today that its CEO, Nigel Bayliff, will speak atSubsea Connect 2017 in Marseille, France. During the opening keynote panel session, “Exploring the Outcomes and Offerings of New and Diverse Global Subsea Cable Routes,” Mr. Bayliff will join executives from Ciena, Orange International Carriers, Seaborn Networks and Sparkle to discuss the driving forces behind the selection of new routes, an update on cables that are currently under construction or approaching their launch date, and what the new routes offer in terms of meeting capacity and low latency demands. The panel will take place as Aqua Comms begins formal survey work to develop CeltixConnect-2, a new, diverse and high capacity subsea cable system crossing the Irish Sea from Dublin to Manchester and connecting to the Isle of Man.
