EDWARD MORCHE TO JOIN ZAYO GROUP AS PRESIDENT OF SALES

BOULDER, Colo. – May 9, 2017 – Zayo Group Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: ZAYO) announced today that it has named Edward (Ed) Morche president of sales, effective May 10, 2017. Morche will have oversight of Zayo’s entire sales organization and will report to Zayo’s president and COO, Andrew Crouch.

“Ed is a proven sales leader within our industry who will be instrumental in driving continued growth,” said Dan Caruso, Zayo’s chairman and CEO. “He has a deep understanding of the market opportunity and demand for bandwidth, effective sales channel strategies and how to leverage our deep fiber assets for customers in a wide range of sectors. I worked with Ed early in his career at Level 3, and I am excited that he will be a key member of our executive management team.”

Prior to joining Zayo, Morche was group vice president of Sales at Level 3 Communications where he was responsible for sales, sales engineering, business operations, commercial services and metro market expansion for the company’s largest business unit – North America’s Enterprise and Government customers. During his 16-year tenure at Level 3, Morche held senior roles in Product Management, Business Development, Offer Management and Sales. Before joining Level 3 in 2001, Morche held roles in Operations, Carrier Relations and Network Planning at Sprint, Teleglobe and Igaea.

Morche serves on the Board of Directors of the Virginia Hospital Center and is the former co-chair of their philanthropic organization. He received undergraduate and graduate degrees in Architecture from the School of Engineering at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
