Future Digital Infrastructure is a vision of the datacenter a decade from now. A robot manages all the activities of the datacenter. In the demonstration area outside of Ericsson’s Hall 2 at Mobile World Congress, a robotic arm moves tiles for compute, storage, and networking at beyond-human speeds.
Ericsson put an action camera on the robotic arm so you can experience what it’s like to be on the wall, which weighs 4.5 tons and contains 252 tiles. 101 tiles are for compute: 75 tiles are for memory; 51 tiles are for storage; and there are 25 Fabric tiles.
