SUPPORTED LIVE BROADCAST OF UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL TO MORE THAN 170 MILLION VIEWERS AROUND THE GLOBE
Net Insight was chosen by EI Towers, the leading independent Italian infrastructure and broadcasting services company, to provide live media transport of the UEFA Champions League Final from the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy, to millions of viewers across the globe.
In a world where television consumers are becoming increasingly empowered by the volume of content available and progressively more demanding of the quality of their viewing experience, the live broadcast of the UEFA Champions League Final represents a major challenge and required a solution that could deliver a faultless and amazing viewing experience to the millions watching.
To meet these requirements, Net Insight’s media transport solution, turned out to be the preferred one identified and deployed by EITowers specifically for the 2016 Champions League Final, with the help of the systems integrator Diem Technologies Srl, the distribution partner of Net Insight. The operational control was managed by EI Towers, between the San Siro Stadium and the broadcaster Mediaset’s production studios located 5 km north of Milan at Cologno Monzese.
