Singapore – June 20, 2016 – IO, a leading global data center services company, today announced the appointment of Darren Webb as Managing Director in Singapore and Southeast Asia. In this role, Darren will lead IO’s business and operations locally and regionally whilst driving growth in both existing and new markets within the region, establishing Singapore as the strategic Asian hub. His key responsibilities will be to increase market share, profitability and overall operational efficiency.

With over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Darren has held senior appointments across the globe. Prior to joining IO, Darren was, most recently, Head of Business Transformation for Asia and Africa at Vodafone where he spearheaded a successful expansion program across Asia, Africa, India and the Middle East. Darren previously held a number of leadership positions at Cable&Wireless in both Asia and Europe.
