Sprint Wins Atlanta Metro Area 2016 Top Workplaces Award

Win Comes on Heels of New Local Market Approach

ATLANTA (BUSINESS WIRE), March 28, 2016 – For the sixth consecutive year, Sprint (NYSE:S, news, filings) has been awarded a 2016 Top Workplaces honor by The Atlanta Journal Constitution. Sprint placed among the top 25 largest companies in the metro area, with at least 500 employees.

Atlanta is the Sprint headquarters for the South Region – one of four geographic areas – West, Central, Northeast and South – that the company recently announced as ONE Sprint. The South Region, led by Sprint Area President, Jaime Jones, is focused on bringing Sprint closer to its customers and providing them with a much better experience. Jones and the region presidents are responsible for sales strategy and execution, network oversight, customer service, marketing communications and general operations supporting the full portfolio of Sprint products and services from enterprise to consumer across the area. The South geographic area covers Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Central Texas, and Puerto Rico.

This annual award honors employers in metro Atlanta based on independent feedback provided by employees to measure job satisfaction and organizational health. Led by research firm WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, employers in the Atlanta metro area were invited to participate in the employee feedback survey. The field was narrowed to the Top 150 companies. Several aspects of workplace culture were measured, including Alignment, Execution, and Connection.
