International Law Firm Selects Zayo for High-performance Connectivity

Deployment includes new point of presence (PoP) in major Denver-area data center

BOULDER, Colo.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–

Zayo Group Holdings, Inc. (ZAYO), the global leader in communications infrastructure, has been selected by an international law firm for an Ethernet solution that will connect 11 U.S. offices with up to 10 GB of protected Ethernet.

Law firms and other professional services companies are increasingly turning to high-performance communication infrastructure solutions for secure file sharing, large file transfers, business intelligence applications and data analysis. As a result, they require high-performance networks, with connectivity to multiple national and international offices and facilities, as well as connectivity to cloud and “as a service” providers.

“Zayo is well positioned to meet the growing demand in this sector with our full range of solutions, including our deep metro fiber networks and our high-performance intercity connectivity,” said Tyler Coates, senior director, Ethernet at Zayo. “In response to this customer’s unique needs, we designed a solution that leverages our core-protected, 100 GB Ethernet backbone to support a full 10 GB of capacity between multiple cities in the U.S.”

As part of the solution, Zayo will deploy a new 100 GB PoP at a major Denver-area data center, located at 1500 Champa in Denver. The PoP enables current and prospective customers to leverage Zayo’s network and services and interconnect with other major providers.
