XO Fixed Wireless Backup Access is an alternative last-mile and metro-area access solution that serves as a network redundancy option to complement existing wireline networks. The service is available in bandwidth options ranging from 10 Mbps to 1 Gbps and leverages the XO-licensed, carrier-grade fixed wireless (LMDS) spectrum that covers 74 major metropolitan markets across the United States.
All applications for this award were evaluated based on the following criteria: technology innovation, financial impact, market validation, compatibility with existing networks, end-user customer experience, and overall level of innovation.
