Integra Names Marc Willency as New Chief Executive Officer

Vancouver, Wash. – Aug. 28, 2015 Integra, a provider of fiber-based, enterprise-grade networking, communications and technology solutions, announced today that its Board of Directors has named telecommunications veteran Marc Willency to the role of Chief Executive Officer, effective Sept. 8, 2015. Willency will also serve on Integra’s Board of Directors.

Willency joins Integra with more than 17 years at leading industry companies. He will take on responsibility for growing Integra’s two primary business units, Integra Business and Electric Lightwave, to accelerate the execution of the company’s long-term strategy of building upon its unique and expansive network assets to deliver on the sophisticated communications needs of its customers.

Most recently, Willency served as group vice president for customer solutions and enablement at Level 3 Communications, where he oversaw several sales, operations, and customer experience management functions in the North American region.  Prior to that, Willency was senior vice president of customer operations at tw telecom. He previously held senior positions in operations, sales and support, and customer experience at tw telecom.

Willency succeeds Integra’s interim president and CEO, Robert E. Guth, who was appointed to the role in September 2014 and has served on the Integra Board of Directors since 2009. Guth will remain on the Integra Board of Directors as Vice Chairman.

“On behalf of Integra’s Board of Directors, I am excited for Marc to build on the momentum Integra has gained over the past year aligning our day-to-day efforts with our core business strategy. He brings a tremendous amount of management experience, knowledge of the industry, and passion for building great organizations and business cultures – all of which will help him lead the business and accelerate the transformation work already underway,” said Guth.

“I look forward to working with the Integra team to cement the company’s position as a leading network services provider in the western United States,” said Marc Willency. “With solid financial standing, a strong focus on customer experience, expansive network infrastructure and a broad portfolio of networking, cloud and security services, I am joining Integra at an exciting time in the company’s growth and am eager to help shape the future of the business.”
