QTS Adds Neil Sprague to Growing Legal Team

Overland Park, Kan. (July 2, 2015)QTS Realty Trust (NYSE: QTS), one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing providers of data center facilities and cloud services, and a leader in security and compliance, announced today that Neil Sprague has joined QTS as Senior Associate General Counsel, becoming the fifth in-house attorney.

Based out of Kansas City, Sprague has over 34 years of corporate legal experience with multinational companies. Most recently, he managed internal and external legal affairs as Senior Vice President/General Counsel and Secretary for EPR Properties, a publicly held REIT with total assets of approximately $4 billion. Sprague previously served as the Associate General Counsel for DineEquity, the holding company of Applebee’s International and IHOP Corporation, where he was on the leadership team for the $2.2 billion merger of the two brands. Prior to that he was a partner at the Kansas City based law firm of Shook, Hardy and Bacon L.L.P.

Sprague is based at QTS’ Overland Park, Kansas headquarters. Sprague holds a law degree from the University of Missouri and a Bachelor’s degree in economics/finance from the University of Missouri. He is a member of the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals, the Association of Corporate Counsel and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
