Sprint Shares #1 Ranking for Reliability, Call and Text Performance in Jacksonville, Florida

Network improves daily making it a great time to switch to Sprint

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (BUSINESS WIRE), April 22, 2015 – Sprint today announced that its network in Jacksonville, Florida, shares a first-place ranking for reliability, call and text performance, according to a new RootScore® Report by independent mobile analytics firm RootMetrics®.

According to RootMetrics this is Sprint’s first win in reliability in Jacksonville. Network reliability measures the strength of data and call connectivity, as well as text performance. RootMetrics also reported that Sprint did not record any blocked calls during testing.

“Our network gets better every day, and we’re working hard to provide the consistent reliability, capacity, and speed that our customers demand,” said Mike Hennigan, vice president of Sprint’s network in the South Region. “We’re pleased with our progress in Jacksonville and we’ll continue to invest and improve. With our new low-cost pricing plans, there’s never been a better time to give Sprint a try.”

Following a multi-year overhaul, the Sprint network now provides significantly better call quality and faster data speeds in more places than before. Additionally, Sprint has been awarded a total of 93 first place (outright or shared) RootScore Awards for reliability, call, or text network performance in the 75 markets measured to date in the 1st half of 2015.1
