Kevin Wallick Named Senior Vice President, General Manager for West Virginia

Executive Brings Track Record of Success to Mountain State

CHARLESTON, W.Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Kevin Wallick is the new senior vice president and general manager for the Mid-Atlantic Region’s West Virginia market, Area President Michael C. Flynn announced today.

Wallick most recently served as vice president and general manager for Frontier’s Mid States markets in Minnesota, Iowa and Nebraska.

“Kevin Wallick’s operations and business results in Frontier’s Mid-States led to this opportunity in West Virginia,” Flynn said. “He is a highly experienced industry executive who brings a wealth of knowledge to our region.”

Flynn noted that Frontier serves customers in all 55 West Virginia counties and has made broadband service available to more than 90 percent of the households in the state. In addition, he said, Frontier has developed a leading-edge network that supports commercial-scale customers, including small to large businesses, health care facilities, schools and government offices.

Wallick joined Frontier in 2010 as general manager in eastern Ohio and was based in New Philadelphia. He was promoted to area general manager for Mid-States in 2013 and subsequently became vice president for Mid-States, where he led the market to operational excellence and broadband growth.

Before joining Frontier, Wallick managed several stores for Best Buy, the large electronics and home automation and entertainment store. He also had a more than 20-year successful career as an executive for Sterling Jewelry Inc., which is home to nine brands of fine jewelry stores and is the nation’s largest retail jeweler.

Wallick earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. He has been married to his wife, Kim, for 28 years, and they have one daughter, Amanda. They will relocate to the Charleston area.

Wallick succeeds Dana Waldo, who led West Virginia for five years and recently retired.
