[Shenzhen, China, March 25, 2015] Huawei demonstrated its unified open platform, Ecosystem Software Development Kit (eSDK) at CeBIT, held in Hannover, Germany. Huawei eSDK helps developers focus on innovation through providing flexible development tools and technical support, with the intention of simplifying the implementation process. Huawei strives to provide a one-stop Information and Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure aimed at constructing a fully connected world.
Huawei eSDK is dedicated to launching innovative solutions together with developers based on a deep understanding of customers. To meet the requirements of numerous industry customers, developers are able to use Huawei eSDK as a unified open capability platform. As a result, developers are committed to open capabilities rather than specific, technical details. This results in a leading solution and makes market deployment smoother.
During the exhibition, various applications of eSDK were demonstrated to developers through a remote connection to the eSDK lab in Suzhou, China. In the lab, a complete set of equipment is deployed, supporting access for developers anytime, anywhere. This allows developers to commence projects with zero investment, and also reduces the time spent on equipment procurement, delivery, and commissioning, resulting in significant advancing of projects. Through the remote connection of eSDK Integrated Development Environment (IDE), developers experienced a simplified development process, including one-click download, service connection, project creation, configuration, and debugging.
During the exhibition, Tang Jiuzhou, Director, eSDK Development Department, Huawei delivered an open speech entitled “Paving the Way for Innovation”, which expressed the eSDK interactive support available for developers. Making use of Huawei’s reliable ICT infrastructure to build the platform to enable a combination of capabilities for different products helps developers convert their inspirations into practical innovative solutions, and provide excellent incentive policies for joint market development.
