Continues a long tradition of supporting the Macon, Ga community
Atlanta – March 30, 2015 – Birch Communications, Inc., (“Birch”) a leading technology service provider of IP-based communications, broadband, cloud and IT-services to small, mid-sized, enterprise and wholesale businesses, announced today its lead sponsorship of the 2015 Cherry Blossom Road Race that was held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 in Macon, Ga.
Each March, Macon, Ga. becomes a pink, cotton-spun paradise as over 300,000 Yoshino cherry trees bloom in all their glory. For 10 days, festival-lovers are treated to one of the most extravagant displays of springtime color in the nation
This is the company’s tenth consecutive year sponsoring some part of the world-renowned Cherry Blossom Festival and it is the third consecutive year that Birch has been the lead sponsor of the road race with proceeds benefiting developmentally disabled adults who are served by Wesley Glen Ministries.

The popular 13th annual road race event features a 1 mile fun run, 5K or 10K road race, as well as a kid’s carnival. This year over 35 Birch employees took part in the road race which had a record overall turnout.
