Sprint offers chance to win a pair of NBA All-Star Game tickets

NBA fans have opportunity to meet players, win items at other events in New York


NBA fans in New York City are in for a treat this week as the biggest names in the sport come to the Big Apple for NBA All-Star Weekend, Feb. 13-15.

Sprint is offering fans the chance to win tickets to the NBA All-Star Game on Feb. 15 by registering at New York-area Sprint Stores along with a great offer on a Samsung Galaxy S5 and the option for Verizon and AT&T customers to cut their rate plan in half. Additionally, Sprint is providing several opportunities for fans to meet current NBA stars and NBA legends at a variety of locations and events throughout the city now through Feb. 15.

Fans can enter the sweepstakes for a chance to win two to the 2015 NBA All-Star Game by registering at a participating Sprint Store in the New York area. Fans can only enter in-store using a designated phone/tablet provided by a sales associate. The winner of the sweepstakes will be notified the morning of Feb. 15.

With the Cut Your Bill in Half Event, well qualified fans with Verizon or AT&T can cut their rate plan in half. For customers visiting participating New York-area stores they can cut their rate plan in half along with the option to lease a Samsung Galaxy S®5 with no money down at signing and $20 per month for 24 months, and a $100 service credit. This promotion ends on Feb. 15.

On Saturday, Feb. 14, fans can meet Detroit’s Andre Drummond who will appear at the Sprint Store in Herald Square, 138 West 34th Street, to help drive additional awareness of the sweepstakes and Cut Your Bill in Half Event.

Sprint E-Recycling Buyback Events
In conjunction with the NBA, Sprint is hosting a mobile-device recycling at the Sprint Store in Brooklyn (456 Fulton Street) on Wednesday, Feb. 11 from 7-8 p.m., featuring Brooklyn Nets center Mason Plumlee.  Fans can responsibly recycle their phones for a chance to win tickets to the Sprint NBA All-Star Celebrity Game and earn credit back as part of the Sprint Buyback program where Sprint will match any major U.S. carrier phone trade-in pricing.

NBA House
For fans attending NBA House Feb. 10-16, the fan-interactive area at Moynihan Station in Manhattan, Sprint is offering an opportunity to participate in the Ultimate Shot contest, where fans take a shot at an 18-foot tall hoop. All participants will receive a Sprint/All-Star co-branded premium item and those who make the shot receive an additional prize.

Several NBA players will be making an appearance at the Sprint location to sign autographs Feb. 12-15 where attendees can also test out the hottest Sprint devices and sign up for Sprint service on-site. Fans can visit the Herald Square Sprint Store near NBA House to collect a limited-edition Sprint/ NBA All-Star co-branded backpack.

Finally, Sprint will be distributing Sprint Pre-Game Concert tickets to select recipients at the Sprint display at NBA House throughout the event week.
