STAMFORD, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Frontier Communications Corporation (NYSE:FTR, news, filings) today announced Michael Daniel has been named Senior Vice President, Carrier and Customer Premise Equipment (CPE). He reports to Frontier’s President and Chief Operating Officer Daniel J. McCarthy.
Mr. Daniel is responsible for managing Frontier’s Carrier and Wholesale business. He oversees sales, service and operations for services offered to inter-exchange carriers, wireless carriers, competitive local exchange carriers and local exchange carriers. “I am confident Mike will continue to increase Frontier’s CPE sales and service and strengthen our wholesale offerings to telecommunications service providers,” said Mr. McCarthy.
Most recently, Mr. Daniel was Vice President of Frontier’s West Region Commercial Sales team for Medium-sized Businesses and Enterprises. Before that, he was a management consultant and earlier, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Integra Telecom. Earlier, he was Vice President of Sales for Electric Lightwave, a fiber-based telecommunications company acquired by Integra.
Mr. Daniel earned a B.S. in Business Administration/Marketing from Oregon State University.
