Boost Mobile Introduces “Data Boost Plans” That Offer Big Data at a Small Price

New plans reduce prices and double the amount of high-speed data for customers

IRVINE, Calif. (BUSINESS WIRE), September 03, 2014 – Actions speak louder than words and Boost Mobile has always been a trailblazer in the wireless industry, making bold and disruptive moves to help consumers get more for their money. Today, Boost Mobile introduces “Data Boost Plans,” which reduce Boost’s monthly prices by $5 and double the amount of high-speed data customers receive.

Boost changed the wireless game in 2009 with the launch of the flat-rate $50 Monthly Unlimited plan and continued to pave the road with innovations like Shrinking Payments in 2011. The new Data Boost Plans are available to new and existing customers from Sept. 3 through Nov. 3and provide an affordable way for consumers to match their specific data needs. At $35 per month, Boost Mobile provides the lowest price for an unlimited talk, text and high-speed data prepaid plan among major carriers and can be paired with a Boost Mobile handset.1

“This is way more data at a better price,” said Dow Draper, president-Sprint Prepaid Group. “We are making the choice easy for consumers. Boost has been a disrupter before and will do it again with the launch of these new lower-priced plans that include double the data. Consumers are data hungry and always want more at the lowest price possible. Data Boost Plans satisfy what consumers crave.”

In May, Boost responded to customers by providing choice and flexibility with Monthly Unlimited Select (MUS) plans at $40, $50 and $60 per month. The new Data Boost Plans cost five dollars less per month than MUS and provide twice as much high-speed data.
