Huawei Tech. Investment Co., Limited and Huawei Technologies Coöperatief U.A. secure USD1.6 Billion 5+1+1 Years Syndicated Credit Facilities

[London, UK, August 19, 2014]: Huawei Tech. Investment Co., Limited and Huawei Technologies Coöperatief U.A. (the “Companies”),material subsidiaries of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., (“Huawei”) today announced the successful signing of USD1.6 Billion 5+1+1-year revolving credit facilities (the “Facilities”). This marks Huawei’s first syndicated facility that comes chiefly from European banks.

Huawei’s products and solutions have been deployed in more than 170 countries and regions, serving more than one third of the world’s population! We’ve helped people around the world to bridge the digital divide and enter the network and information societies. Now, Huawei is acting as an enabler of the information society!

The Facilities were fully underwritten and arranged by the Mandated Lead Arrangers and Bookrunners, including Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A., BNP Paribas, Citigroup Global Markets Limited, DBS Bank Ltd., Deutsche Bank Luxembourg S.A., HSBC Bank plc, ING Bank N.V., Standard Chartered Bank, The Royal Bank of Scotland plc, Hong Kong Branch.

Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited, Banco de Sabadell S.A., London Branch, Bank of China Limited London Branch, Barclays Bank PLC, Bayerische Landesbank, China Construction Bank (London) Limited, Commerzbank AG, Hong Kong branch, Erste Group Bank AG, Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A., Hong Kong Branch, Lloyds Bank plc, Mizuho Bank Nederland N.V., Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Brussels Branch, UniCredit Bank Austria AG joined the transaction as Mandated Lead Arrangers.

DNB Asia Ltd joined as Lead Arrangers. CaixaBank, S.A., DZ BANK AG Deutsche Zentral-Genossenschaftsbank, Frankfurt am Main, Hong Kong Branch, Societe Generale, Hong Kong Branch joined as Arrangers.

Citicorp International Limited acted as Facility Agent for the Facilities.
