Maggie Hallbach Promoted to New Role In Verizon Public Sector Markets

Company Veteran Leads Team Focused on State and Local Government, Education Clients

Maggie Hallbach has been named a vice president within Verizon Enterprise Solutions’ public sector markets organization. In her new role, Hallbach will lead a nationwide team responsible for customer engagement and solutions development that combine Verizon’s industry-leading portfolio of advanced communications and IT solutions, including cloud, security and networking, to address the increasingly complex requirements of state and local government, and education clients.

Hallbach, a 17 year veteran with the company, most recently headed Verizon Lean Six Sigma efforts to drive ongoing business transformation and process improvement across Verizon Enterprise Solutions. She was responsible for delivering customer experience enhancements and increased shareholder value. She previously led the company’s project and program management team responsible for service delivery and operations for government and education clients across the U.S.

Hallbach began her career with MCI in 1997. MCI was acquired by Verizon in 2006. She earned a Master of Business Administration in marketing and finance from the University of Maryland’s Robert H Smith School of Business and holds a Bachelor of Arts in history from Brown University.
