QTS Hosts Information Security and Compliance Forum at its Richmond, Virginia Data Center
Forum Featured Thought Leaders in Cyber Security and Compliance

Overland Park, Kan. (May 15, 2014) – QTS Realty Trust (NYSE: QTS), one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing providers of data center facilities and cloud services, and a leader in security and compliance, held a private event on May 14 at the QTS Richmond data center – one of the nation’s largest and most secure – for almost 100 attendees.  The event was designed to provide QTS’ invited guests with an insider’s perspective from leading experts on the latest trends in information and cyber security and the top compliance issues facing enterprises today.

The event featured keynote speakers, including Jill Singer, partner – Deep Water Point, Pete Jobse, president and CEO – Center for Innovation Technology (CIT) and Rick Gordon, managing partner, Mach37 Partners.  Singer was the CIO for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) and was deputy CIO for the Central Intelligence Agency, prior to joining Deep Water Point.  Jobse has transformed CIT into an advanced technology services organization that has created over 80 companies and attracted over $100 million in private equity; and Gordon previously led product management strategy that targeted growth in the commercial cyber security products market, prior to joining Mach37.

In addition to the keynote speakers, QTS hosted three break-out sessions on FISMA/FedRAMP, HIPAA and Information Security and PCI DSS Compliance, led by Rob Barnes, director – CoalFire, T.R. Kane, partner for IT Risk & Cyber Compliance – PwC and Jeff Weber, managing director, Protiviti, respectively.
