To manage Networks’ business and operations in Denmark
Responsible for Railways solutions in North Europe

Copenhagen, Denmark – Nokia has appointed Lise Karstensen as country head of Denmark for Networks (formely NSN, Nokia Solutions and Networks), effective from April, 2014. In this new role she will be responsible for Networks’ operations and for its developing new business opportunities in the country. In addition, Lise will continue to lead Networks’ Railways solutions in North Europe.
Commenting on the appointment, Tommi Uitto, head of West Europe at Networks, Nokia said: “Lise is a dynamic and passionate professional with extensive industry knowledge. She is also deeply commited to ensuring the best results for customers and the company. I am delighted to have her leading operations in Denmark.”
Lise has over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry with a background of leading key customers relationships and managing strategic business projects. Since joining Nokia in 1998, she has held a wide variety of roles, including project management, sales and business development.
Born in Denmark, Lise holds a Master of Engineering from the Copenhagen Technical University. She is married with two children.
