New PoP will provide reduced latency and greater bandwidth for customers in Southern France
MARSEILLE, France & SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Hurricane Electric, the world’s largest IPv6-native Internet backbone, announced today an additional Point-of-Presence (PoP) in France, at SFR Netcenter located at 40 Avenue Roger Salengro, Marseille, 13003 France.
This new PoP furthers Hurricane Electric’s commitment to France and will give customers in Southern France greater bandwidth and reduced latency through 100BaseT, 1GigE, 10Gbps, and 100GE service. Additionally, customers of SFR Netcenter will experience improved fault tolerance, load balancing and congestion management infrastructure capabilities for the delivery of both IPv4 and IPv6 access services. SFR Netcenter customers will also have the opportunity to exchange traffic with Hurricane Electric’s global network.
