Tata Consultancy Selects Level 3 Network Services to Enable Communications for its Expanded Operations in Brazil

Consultancy Deploys Level 3´s Ethernet Virtual Private Line and Dedicated Internet Access Services to its Offices in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo

SAO PAULO, Feb. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Level 3 Communications, Inc. (NYSE:LVLT, news, filings) today announced it has signed an agreement with Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (TCS), a multinational IT services, consulting and business solutions organization, to deliver Ethernet virtual private line (EVPL) and dedicated Internet access (DIA) services to its offices in Brazil. The new services will connect the company’s headquarters in Sao Paulo to its recently opened office in Rio de Janeiro, increasing communications efficiency between the two locations.

With the opening of its office in Rio de Janeiro, TCS needed additional network services to accommodate an increased flow of communications traffic throughout the region. By using Level 3’s EVPL and DIA services, TCS now has a reliable and secure communication infrastructure, enabling the company to concentrate on its core business.
