Cross River Fiber Won’t Slow Down

Cross River Fiber completes 2013 low latency initiatives to support growing industry needs

Summit, NJ – December 9, 2013Cross River Fiber, a New Jersey-based, niche boutique dark fiber optic and telecommunications solutions provider takes strategic steps in 2013 to continue to support the financial vertical. The demand for high-quality, ultra-low latency connectivity continues to grow and Cross River Fiber is set on providing the fastest solutions. With consistent modifications to shorten their fiber routes and the recent completion of wireless RF infrastructure, Cross River Fiber remains a competitive player in offering high speed broadband connectivity to end users.

“Cross River Fiber’s latest addition, CRF1700, is a 130ft galvanized steel monopole located in Mahwah, NJ and stands within close proximity to key financial exchanges and datacenters. The monopole has been strategically constructed to provide our users with access to deploy low latency RF solutions packaged with our dedicated dark fiber, power, and colocation. As RF low latency applications are evolving in the microwave and millimeter wave space, Cross River Fiber recognizes a high demand for HFT’s (High Frequency Traders) and financial firms to have the most competitive options for data transmission. Complimentary to our fiber optic network, CRF1700 is a mounting block that supports and enables radio frequency telecommunications.” states Vincenzo Clemente, President and CEO.

Cross River Fiber has also reduced distances within its wholly owned, independent fiber optic network. Recent improvements include shortening their already lowest latency fiber routes from 1700 MacArthur Blvd, Mahwah to 755 Secaucus Rd, Secaucus, 165 Halsey St, Newark, 1400 Federal Blvd, Carteret and 300 JF Kennedy Blvd East, Weehawken.

Vincenzo Clemente, explains “Our goal has always been to take strategic strides to stay ahead of the curve, often making tactical decisions to fulfill customer demands before they realize we’re doing so.”

In addition to the company’s low latency initiatives, Cross River Fiber is continually expanding its fiber optic network by adding miles across New Jersey and penetrating areas that are underserved with broadband services. Cross River Fiber continues to service healthcare, education, government and other enterprise verticals by offering custom and diverse high bandwidth solutions.
