Huawei Showcases innovative enterprise products and solutions at Interop Tokyo 2013, with CloudEngine Data Center Switch Recognized in the Best of Show Award in the Data Center and Storage Category

[Tokyo, Japan, June 13, 2013]: Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, presents its latest enterprise products and solutions at Interop Tokyo 2013, the largest ICT tradeshow in Japan. Huawei’s CloudEngine 12800 series data center switch (“CE12800”), with industry’s highest switching capacity and signal rate, was awarded the Best of Show Award in the Data Center and Storage Category from Interop, honoring Huawei’s efforts and contribution to product research and innovation in data center networking.

During the event, Huawei showcases four major categories of advanced and innovative enterprise ICT solutions, including enterprise networking, cloud computing and data center, Bring-Your-Own-Device (“BYOD”) and Green Power. In addition, Huawei also announced its strategic partnership with Nissho Electronics, one of the leading Japanese system integrators, to jointly showcase Huawei’s all-in-one FusionCube solution at the exhibition as well as to jointly promote Huawei’s innovative enterprise ICT products and solutions to the Japanese market going forward.

Huawei’s CloudEngine series switches are high-performance cloud switches designed for next-generation data centers and high-end campus networks. With industry’s highest performing next-generation core engine, it supports 64 Tbit/s switching capacity and provides terabit high-density line cards, super-large buffer on 100G/40G/10G ports and network platform with stability for five to eight years, offering advanced architecture that ensures uninterrupted service transmission. Since its launch in May 2012, the CE12800 has been serving more than 60 customers and made more than 300 shipments, with over a third of the shipments going outside of the Chinese market.

Enterprise BYOD Solution – Comprehensive enterprise mobile office solution

Reducing network complexity and operating expenses for users, the dustproof and waterproof AR530 industrial switching router can endure extreme temperatures and resist electro-magnetic interference while satisfying the needs under various scenarios and the demand of Internet of Things.

FusionCube – Jointly launched with strategic partner Nissho Electronics

The FusionCube is a highly innovative and simplified one-stop infrastructure cloud platform featuring fully converged computing, storage and networking capabilities. Through in-depth integration with the cloud platform software FusionSphere, FusionCube is scalable and can reduce the operation and maintenance costs by 70%. In addition, the performance of key applications such as enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management can be improved by 3 times if the infrastructure is optimized based on enterprise application.

Next Generation HD Videoconferencing System TE30 – With lower bandwidth but better HD experience and in-built Wi-Fi for more convenient access

Next generation HD videoconferencing system TE30 incorporates in Huawei’s patented Video Motion Enhancement (VME) and H.264 Scalable Video Coding technologies. It delivers 1080P HD experience for 512k of bandwidth and 720P for 384k, reducing bandwidth requirements by 50% compared to other similar products and thus greatly cutting down broadband costs for customers while ensuring HD experience.

Green Power – Green power supply system for multiple scenarios

Huawei’s PowerCube 500 small-scale mixed power supply system is highly reliable, highly efficient and green and offers multiple application scenarios. It features competitive pricing and is the primary choice for power supply to low power equipment such as video surveillance and Wi-Fi hotspots.
