Boulder, Colo., — April 2, 2013 — Zayo Group held the inaugural meeting of its newly-formed Zayo Agent Advisory Council on April 16th in Boulder, Colo. Attendees included representatives from Intelisys, New England Fiber, Avant, and other leaders from the indirect channel.
Zayo established the Agent Advisory Council as a means to provide a clear voice from key members of the agent community in helping Zayo develop a stronger indirect channel. During the April meeting, the Advisory Council provided feedback on channel strategy, support needs and positioning Zayo services to the agent community. Zayo executive and product leadership provided an update on Zayo’s overall corporate strategy as well as product initiatives designed to further empower the channel.
“Our goal is to leverage Zayo’s extensive fiber network to become the indirect channel’s preferred provider for high-bandwidth infrastructure services” said Glenn Russo, Executive Vice President of Strategy and Development at Zayo.
Zayo is undertaking several projects to streamline workflow and enhance support for its partners, including enabling the channel with access to fiber and colocation facility information, streamlining quote creation, and improving communication throughout the service delivery process.
