XteraLink is an edge server appliance deployed on the border between enterprise intranets (LANs) and the Internet (WAN). It cost-effectively bonds multiple WAN links into virtual pipes to deliver bandwidth aggregation and WAN fault tolerance. With a maximum throughput of 300Mbps, XteraLink has 3 WAN, 1 LAN and 1 DMZ links, and a USB port for 3G cellular data cards. XteraLink comes with an inbuilt firewall that includes DoS, DDoS and connection limits. Other important features include outbound load balancing (Auto Routing), NAT and virtual servers.
